Edelman Fossil Park is proud to host “Be a Paleontologist Event” for the Philadelphia Science Festival! In collaboration with the Franklin Institute, we are excited to bring to the public, this rare experience for science enthusiasts of all ages to dig alongside Rowan paleontologists and paleo-enthusiasts for 65-million-year-old fossils to bring home! *Restrictions apply. Visitors can also examine Late Cretaceous marine fossils found at the site, including fearsome mosasaurs, 25-foot crocodiles, and several species of sharks and sea turtles.

Please refer to the map for specific directions. This event is NOT held on campus.  Pre-registration for this event is required. Walk-in’s will not be accepted as we reach maximum capacity at all of our events. Register and reserve your parking spot today! 

Please Note: Registration is by Car only, not number of participants. A max of 70 cars are allowed at the park.
