This is the first of 18 Podcast interviews that will provide standardized, comprehensive, easily accessible, evidence-based education on best practices and current laws regarding opioids for professionals throughout the State. This 1 recorded podcast interview focuses on how mobile units may enhance access to treatment for individuals with OUDs experiencing homelessness.

TARGET AUDIENCE: New Jersey Physicians; Podiatrists; Physician Assistants; Certified Nurse Midwives; Dentists; Advanced Practice Nurses; Social Workers; Psychologists; Marriage & Family Therapists; and Professional Counselors.

OBJECTIVES:  At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Articulate how mobile units may enhance access to treatment for individuals with OUDs while also experiencing homelessness
  2. Implement outreach and referral processes
  3. Prioritize building community trust
  4. Employ mobile prescribing of Medications for Opiate Use Disorders
