This is the first of 18 Podcast interviews that will provide standardized, comprehensive, easily accessible, evidence-based education on best practices and current laws regarding opioids for professionals throughout the State. This 1 recorded podcast interview focuses on how mobile units may enhance access to treatment for individuals with OUDs experiencing homelessness.
TARGET AUDIENCE: New Jersey Physicians; Podiatrists; Physician Assistants; Certified Nurse Midwives; Dentists; Advanced Practice Nurses; Social Workers; Psychologists; Marriage & Family Therapists; and Professional Counselors.
OBJECTIVES: At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Articulate how mobile units may enhance access to treatment for individuals with OUDs while also experiencing homelessness
- Implement outreach and referral processes
- Prioritize building community trust
- Employ mobile prescribing of Medications for Opiate Use Disorders
