This is the 2nd of 18 Podcast interviews that will provide standardized, comprehensive, easily accessible, evidence-based education on best practices and current laws regarding opioids for professionals throughout the State. This 1 recorded podcast interview focuses on the challenges of residential treatment programs to introduce MOUDs.

TARGET AUDIENCE: New Jersey Physicians; Podiatrists; Physician Assistants; Certified Nurse Midwives; Dentists; Advanced Practice Nurses; Social Workers; Psychologists; Marriage & Family Therapists; and Professional Counselors.

OBJECTIVES:  At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Articulate how MOUDs are offered to clients
  2. Compare successful treatment stories
  3. Recognize emerging drug use trends
  4. Assess needs of clients seeking treatment for OUDs in a residential treatment setting
