This podcast is part of the NJ ODEP Program that will provide standardized, comprehensive, easily accessible, evidence-based education on best practices and current laws regarding opioids for professionals throughout the State. This pre-recorded podcast interview focuses on the prevalence of opiate use in women with endometriosis, how to screen for endometriosis-related illicit opiate use, pain management and treatment guidelines, and related topics.
This module is designed to educate New Jersey Physicians; Podiatrists; Physician Assistants; Certified Nurse Midwives; Dentists; Advanced Practice Nurses; Social Workers; Psychologists; Marriage & Family Therapists; and Professional Counselors.
AVAILABLE CREDIT FOR PHYSICIANS: 0.50 AOA Category 1-B and 0.50 AMA PRA Category 1 credit™
AVAILABLE CREDIT FOR OTHER LISTED HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS: This recorded activity satisfies the statutory mandate that physician assistants, podiatrists, certified nurse midwives, nurses, psychologists, social workers, professional counselors, and marriage and family therapists obtain one 1/2 credit in continuing education programs concerning prescription opioid drugs as a condition of licensure renewal. Upon successful completion of the enduring recorded activity, participants will receive a certificate of completion, and should retain it in accordance with their relevant licensing board’s regulations.
To receive full credit, you must be present for the entire recorded podcast interview.
