“Resuscitation of the Struggling Learner: Do’s & Don’ts"
Providing feedback in medical education is already a difficult task. Many struggle with delivering effective feedback to their learners. So you can imagine the additional difficulty of delivering feedback to a learner that is struggling. Educators often believe they know the cause of one’s struggles but it is often multi-faceted. The speaker will discuss techniques to first diagnose the etiology of a struggling learner’s difficulty. Then the speaker will discuss different methods for providing effective feedback to help remediate a struggling learner onto a path of success.
