“Embracing Disability Inclusion and Reducing Ableism in Medical Education"

Dr. Meeks is internationally recognized for her work on disability inclusion in medical education.  After this presentation, faculty will be able to: define ableism and provide three examples of ableism in medical education, recite ableist-driven barriers for learners with disabilities in medical education and apply anti-ableist principles to real-world situations at the personal and programmatic level.
