This is a live webinar and enduring recorded course series consisting of modules that will use a standardized, evidence-based opioid addiction prevention curriculum to train and inform New Jersey health care professionals on best practices in opioid prescribing and patient care in compliance with federal and state statutory and regulatory guidelines.

The modules are designed to educate New Jersey health care professionals with prescribing authority, including physicians, physician assistants, dentists, podiatrists, optometrists, certified nurse midwives, and advanced practice nurses, as well as licensed pharmacists, psychologists, social workers, professional counselors, marriage and family therapists, and registered nurses and athletic trainers. 

All participants who register for and complete a listed course will receive access to the New Jersey Opioid Medical Education Program Naloxone Distribution and Training Programs Guide. This comprehensive county-by-county guide, available in interactive and print formats for health care professional reference and patient education, includes pharmacies who dispense NARCAN® (naloxone hydrochloride) Nasal Spray and the recent FDA-approved generic naloxone hydrochloride nasal spray (utilizing standing orders, and via prescription). It also includes virtual trainings in the era of COVID–19 on how and when to use naloxone nasal spray.

REFUND POLICY

The following refund policy applies to both live webinars and enduring recorded courses. No refunds will be issued once a registrant has logged in to the module. Registrants who have not logged in to the module may request a full refund within 14 days of their date of registration. No refunds will be issued more than 14 days after registration. All refunds are issued directly to the credit card that was used to make the purchase.

Registrants who logged in to the module for the live webinar will automatically be placed in the enduring recorded course approximately one week after the live webinar has concluded. For any registrant who logs in to the live webinar, but does not attend the live webinar, you will be able to view the recorded live webinar in the enduring course.  No refunds will be issued for users who logged in to the module for the live webinar prior to the start time but did not attend the live webinar event during the time it was streamed.
