Noncredit courses are short-term classes offered through Rowan Global. They are intended for students who want to gain general knowledge, learn a new skill, upgrade existing skills or develop personal interests. Upon completion, students may request a certificate of completion from the College.

Who is it for?

Noncredit courses are for students who want to gain general knowledge, learn a new skill, upgrade existing skills, or enrich their understanding of a wide range of topics.

Requirements?

Noncredit classes offer personal development and intellectual growth opportunities. Students who participate in these courses will expand their minds and learn new information about areas of interest. These non-intensive classes allow students to examine, analyze, and research topics for fun. This type of learning experience will be advantageous. Noncredit courses are often taken in association with a hobby, new career, or volunteer work. A safe and slow enrichment course environment truly allows students to enjoy their academic experiences.

Materials?

All material related to the noncredit course or program will be received at the time of the course.

Refund policy

Students who wish to withdraw must formally request a withdrawal from the noncredit course and will be eligible for a refund as follows:

  • 100% Refund - Withdraw 5 business days prior to the first day of class
  • 50% Refund - Withdraw 4-1 business days prior to the first day of class
  • 0% Refund - Withdraw after the first day of class

In addition, special refund policies may apply if noted with the course description.

Formal withdrawal should be requested through Rowan Global or by emailing Dr. Terrence Hardee at hardee@rowan.edu. For assistance, call 856-256-5203.

Financial Obligation

Please note that a drop, withdrawal or failure to successfully attend and/or complete a course or courses does not absolve a student's financial responsibility for his/her educational expenses. The student is responsible for payment of charges outstanding after the drop or withdrawal is processed and charges are adjusted.
