The Rowan Summer Music Camp offers students entering grades 8 through 12 the opportunity to study with some of the region's finest instrumental, choral and orchestral educators and performers. During this dynamic five-day camp, students participate in large and small ensembles, experience challenging quality repertoire, and have lessons with world-class faculty. Participants develop their musicianship and improve their technical abilities as they perform in master classes, attend music theory sessions, and see recitals from guest artists.​

Cost

Commuter Cost: $900 (prices include $100 Registration Fee)
Resident Cost: $1050 (prices include $100 Registration Fee)

*If a refund is requested; transaction fees will be deducted from the refunded amount. 

Payment Deadlines:

All tuition payments must be made by June 21, 2024. All remaining camp balances are non-refundable after July 1, 2024.

Lessons:

Have you taken private lessons before? Want to give it a try at camp?! Do you take lessons now and want to have a lesson with a Rowan faculty? Students who wish to have a private 60 minute lesson with a Rowan Faculty or Music Education student can do so and space is limited!

  • $30 with a Rowan Music Education student. (only 12 spaces open)
  • $75 with a Rowan University faculty, audition is required. Email: musiccamps@rowan.edu your video. A private youtube link is preferred. Only 3 spaces are open for lessons with Dr. Timothy Schwarz (violin/viola) and 3 spaces open for Professor David Agia (cello).
