Amid Rowan University’s continuing monitoring and preparation in response to the threat of COVID-19, we are concerned about the wellbeing and safety of guests who may attend events and activities on campus. Our goal is to limit the risk of infection and provide a healthy environment for all visitors to Rowan facilities.

Effective March 16 to April 30, all events, public shows, observatory open houses and field trips scheduled to take place at the Edelman Planetarium will be canceled. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience, but are doing this out of an abundance of caution.

The Beatles were an English rock band, formed in 1960, who are widely regarded as the most influential act of the rock era. Rooted in skiffle, beat, and 1950s rock and roll, the Beatles later experimented with several musical styles, ranging from pop ballads and Indian music to psychedelia and hard rock. In the early 1960s, their enormous popularity first emerged as "Beatlemania", but as the group's music grew in sophistication they came to be perceived as an embodiment of the ideals shared by the counterculture of the 1960s.
