This is a professional development opportunity for those interested in developing antiracist educational and organizational environments. CERTIFICATE DESIGN AND CORE COURSE CONTENT
Registrants will select one of two core course track modules:
- The Inclusive Pedagogy Track Module, or
- The Inclusive Campus Track Module
Descriptions of the tracks:
- The Inclusive Pedagogy Track Module: Registrants in the inclusive pedagogy track offers strategies that work to establish an antiracist learning environment from curriculum to classroom climate.
- The Inclusive Campus Track: Registrants in the Inclusive Practices Track, strategies for implementing antiracist approaches in their organization.
What to expect:
- Synchronous (live) - scheduled sessions with the course instructor (7 hours total)
- Asynchronous (on your own) - weekly readings, videos, and completion of activities (approximately 2 hours per week)
- Culminating project - complete a project in which you will identify a barrier to inclusive practices and work to remedy the problem throughout the course
