This traveling geology course introduces students to the geology, and along the way geography of the western United States using national parks and national monuments as field laboratories. Students will learn the basics of western geology while visiting some of the most spectacular natural regions in the world including Death Valley, the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Crater Lake and Yosemite National Parks.

Deposit of $750 required to be made by 5/1/24. Remaining balance to be paid by 5/15/24

Refund Policy:

To secure a spot on this trip a non-refundable deposit of $750.00 must be made by May 1, 2024. A minimum of six students enrolled is required for the trip to run.

Students may register after May 1st, but the price is no longer guaranteed. Any student who wishes to register after May 1 will need to request an updated quote from Dr. McGlynn (email is mcglynn@rowan.edu) and submit a non-refundable deposit $750.00 immediately upon acceptance.  

Full payment is due by May 15, 2024, for all participants. 

No refunds after May 15 if the course has met the minimum enrollment (6). 

If the course has not reached minimum enrollment (6) by May 15 all payments (including deposits) will be fully refunded.
